Goodness...

I don't think its my day to post or anything, but its been awfully quiet over here! And I haven't been around for quite some time! I want to thank Emma for covering for me! Christmas is drawing near, and my family always love making cookies, sittings by fires with Hot Chocolate and listening to Christmas music. I love this time of year when you can curl up in a blanket on the couch, read a book and drink something hot. Christmas music playing in the background is always lovely, I enjoy it immensely! What are some of your favourite Christmas songs? I recently came across a new one (For me, I had never heard of it before) The little Drummer boy. I really like that song. I've found several different version's of it, but my two favourite versions are Jar's of Clay version and Celtic Woman's version.

Little Drummer Boy

Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,

So to honor Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
When we come.

Little Baby, pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
That's fit to give the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,

Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum,
On my drum?

Mary nodded, pa rum pum pum pum
The ox and lamb kept time, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my drum for Him, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,

Then He smiled at me, pa rum pum pum pum
Me and my drum.

What are some of your favourite Christmas songs? And what do you enjoy doing on a cold winter's day?

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

God bless!
